EFFH Call for Applications from Female Student Leaders for 2025 ElevateHer Political Fellowship

In a bold move to empower the next generation of women leaders, the Eagles Foundation for Humanity (EFFH), in partnership with the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Kwara Axis, has announced the launch of ElevateHer, a political leadership fellowship exclusively designed for politically active female students in Kwara State.

The 2025 fellowship cohort seeks bold, visionary, and politically-driven young women who have contested or held leadership positions within student unions or campus-based organizations.

Speaking at the unveiling ceremony in Ilorin, a spokesperson for EFFH described ElevateHer as “a transformative platform for nurturing a new wave of women leaders capable of driving change in politics, governance, and public advocacy.”

The fellowship will bring together young women to be mentored by lawmakers, public policy experts, community organizers, tech innovators, and leading female figures in Nigerian politics.

“The goal is to build a pipeline of prepared, confident, and competent female leaders who will shape the future of Kwara and beyond,” said the NANS Kwara Chairperson during the launch.

Applications for the 2025 cohort officially opened today. Interested applicants must be female students in Kwara State who have demonstrated interest or experience in student governance or activism.
