In line with its commitment to addressing pressing social needs, Eagles Foundation for Humanity took a significant step toward improving menstrual health and hygiene. On January 13, 2019, the foundation embarked on a vital outreach in Amukoko Community, Lagos State, where reusable sanitary pads were distributed to residents. This thoughtful initiative aimed to provide sustainable menstrual solutions for women and girls in underserved communities, ensuring they have access to safe and affordable menstrual care.

The event took place at Igbaja Street, Alafiat Bus Stop, Amukoko, Lagos state, and was met with enthusiasm and gratitude from the residents. A dedicated team of volunteers from the foundation facilitated the seamless distribution, creating an atmosphere of warmth and inclusion.

Beyond providing 500 reusable sanitary pads, this initiative underscores the foundation’s broader mission of fostering community health and empowering women. Reusable pads not only help alleviate the financial burden of purchasing menstrual products but also contribute to environmental sustainability by reducing waste.

This project was made possible thanks to the generous support of donors and volunteers who continue to champion the cause of humanity. Together, we are building a future where basic needs like menstrual health are accessible to all.
