In October 2015, Eagle’s Foundation for Humanity organized a remarkable outreach initiative titled Harmony for Humanity. This impactful program aimed to support underprivileged communities across Kwara State by collecting and distributing essential items such as clothes, toiletries, foodstuff, provisions, stationeries, belts, and other useful materials. Donations were welcomed in both new and used conditions, emphasizing inclusivity and the importance of sharing resources.
The program was hosted across three major locations in Kwara State—Kwara South (Igbona and Loma), Kwara Central (Ilorin), and Kwara North (Shaaki and Budo-Are). Donation collection points were strategically established at Pakata Roundabout (beside the former IDPU Secretariat in Ilorin) and Unilorin Terminus (Tipper Garage). These hubs provided convenient access for contributors to participate in this noble cause.
The outreach was driven by the foundation’s philosophy that true happiness is achieved by helping others. This belief was underscored by the inspiring quote on the event’s banner: “If you want happiness for a lifetime, help somebody.”
Through Harmony for Humanity, the foundation not only provided material support but also fostered a spirit of unity and compassion among individuals and communities in Kwara. By addressing basic needs, the initiative sought to uplift the less privileged and create a sense of belonging for all.
