In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Eagles Foundation for Humanity launched a free hand sanitizer distribution campaign in 2020 to help curb the spread of the virus and promote public health. Recognizing the urgent need for preventive measures, the foundation distributed hand sanitizers across five states: Lagos, Kwara, Ogun, Oyo, and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja.

The initiative was aimed at supporting communities, particularly underserved areas, by providing essential hygiene products during a time of heightened uncertainty and limited access to resources.

Volunteers and staff from the foundation worked tirelessly to ensure wide-reaching impact, delivering sanitizers to markets, schools, religious centers, transportation hubs, and other public spaces where people were most vulnerable.

In addition to the distribution, the foundation emphasized the importance of regular hand hygiene through sensitization campaigns, educating recipients on how proper handwashing and sanitization reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission.
